Mary Kelly, Dermot O Leary, Joe O Brien and Ann Fleming  are part of a Patient Advisory Panel with a PhD research project presented by Rebecca Sheridan (PhD Candidate) at the Conway Institute – in UCD. We have had a number of zoom meetings but Oct 19th 2022, we visited UCD where we were treated to lunch in the University Club, followed by a presentation from Rebecca updating us on her research and a very interesting tour of the labs in the Conway Institute UCD.

Her research aims to identify and isolate cell particles on MM cells and how they are involved in promoting disease progression.
